Accessibility Statement

What we do so that this website works for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.

Last updated
27 October 2026

famezra aims to make famezra.com usable on any device, in any browser and with any assistive technology. This statement sets out what has been done, which shortcomings remain and how to report a problem.

Our commitment

At famezra, accessible pages are part of everyday maintenance rather than an extra. Each new page and each change of design is checked so that text stays readable, the menu can be used without a mouse and no information depends on a single visual cue. The statement applies to famezra.com only.

What we do

Pages are built with semantic HTML: headings follow a single order, lists are marked as lists and links say where they lead. Navigation and content form separate regions, the language of each page is declared, and informative images have alternative texts while decorative ones are marked as such.

Body text, links and buttons reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1. Because sizes are relative, zooming in or increasing the font size in the browser does not break the layout, and every part of the site can be operated with a keyboard.

Other ways to reach us

If a page on famezra.com does not work for you, the same information can be obtained without using the website. We can be reached by telephone on 01603 458216, by email at [email protected] and by post at 14 Prince of Wales Road, Norwich NR1 1LB. On request we will forward the content of a page in another form, for example as a plain text document.

Conformance

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. At present this site is only partially conformant: most content satisfies the guidelines, while the points listed below do not. Where a requirement cannot be met immediately, we look for another way of supplying the information.

Reporting a barrier

Please report any accessibility problem you encounter by email to [email protected] or by telephone on 01603 458216. A short description of the page, of the difficulty and of the device or assistive technology involved allows us to reproduce the fault. We normally answer within five working days and explain what we intend to do about it.

Limitations we know of

Some pictures are general illustrations and carry a short alternative text rather than a detailed description.

Preparation of this statement

The present statement is dated 27 October 2026 and rests on a self-assessment carried out by famezra, not on an external audit. We examined the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves, using a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader. We review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
